When seven year old Tebay Primary School pupil Jacob Haygarth and his family lost a close family member to leukaemia last year, his family rallied round and set up a cake stall at the end of their drive to raise money for Leukaemia and Myeloma Research UK. People in the village were overwhelmingly supportive with generous cake donations to add to their stand. Their fundraising total so far has hit £1400.00.
Everyone at Tebay School would like to say a huge well done to Jacob and his family, we are all very proud of what your are doing.
