Childcare for children of Essential workers
Please note, this letter is only for those who have previously responded to state that you are a key worker and that your employer has confirmed your role is essential for the Government response to COVID-19.
Thank you for the information you have previously given us regarding childcare needs you have had for this week. Further to this, we are now information gathering for the next 3 weeks. Please respond to this letter, stating when you will need this service for the following weeks. Please state the days when you will need to use this service as adults in the home are key workers and you are unable to arrange alternative childcare. Please state the days and dates that you would like to access childcare in school for the following three weeks to the school office email address
Monday 30th March to Friday 3rd April
Monday 6th April to Friday 10th April
Monday 13th April to Friday 17th April
Please note, from next week this provision will be at Appleby Grammar School
Please respond as soon as possible and no later than 4pm on Thursday 26th March.
May I remind you that this service is for those who have no other option for their child’s care and whose work is essential to the government response against COVID-19. Please behave responsibly and help us to support Cumbria’s System-wide Response to help ensure critical front line staff are able to attend work for as long as possible.
