David Morland (Head of Butchery at Westmorland Services and star of the TV series ‘A Lake District Farm Shop’) and Simon James from Westmorland’s Butchery department came into school to show Class 3 how to make their award winning Cumberland Sausages.
Children helped David and Simon to make the sausages from scratch, asking lots of questions and learning a lot about the process.
The sausages the children helped make will be used in the Friends of Tebay School fundraiser on Saturday 25th March ‘Soup and a sandwich’ from 11am to 1pm in the school hall (all welcome).
