The Happy Herdwicks class welcomed in Kim, one of the vet nurses from Frame & Swift Limited in Penrith. The children learnt what happens in a consultation, theatre and how to bandage the animal.
They also asked lots of questions and discovered that Kim has been a vet nurse for 22 years, she’s treated a skunk before and she helps dogs have their puppies.
