Class 1 have been busy learning about ‘Lifecycles’, they have been finding and collecting seeds, observing, drawing, making models and watering plants, planting flowers for the bees, looking for bugs and observing changes with the apple trees

4 children from Class 3 wrote to David Walliams to tell him how much they love his book. They each received a letter back from David Walliams thanking them for taking the time to write to him.
After a Year 6 child was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes last year, the children decided they would like to end the term raising money for Diabetes UK. The children came dressed in blue, held a disco with party game, they raised a fantastic £65.50.
Class 1 and 2 visited Whinlatter on Wednesday 19th June to study habitats. The children thoroughly enjoyed their day. Thanks to our parent helpers who accompanied the staff and children on this trip.
Students representing all 7 schools in the Cumbria Education Trust (CET) participated in the inaugural collaborative School Council meeting.Details
