8:45am – Doors open

The main school gates are open at 8:45 where there is always a member of staff on duty. All children enter school through the front door. Although when children first start school we allow parents in, we encourage children to find their own coat pegs and follow the morning routines themselves as soon as possible. Class teachers will be waiting for the children and morning activities will be accessed by the children

9.00 am – School starts and the gates are closed

Phonics and spelling groups happen across school at this early time so being in school on time is really important.

Throughout the week we have a range of different assemblies that children attend including singing, celebrating British Values and Demonstrating Powers of Learning.

10.45am – Break time

Classes from Year 1 to Year 6 all enjoy a playtime altogether. There are always at least 2 members of staff on duty.

At playtime, we ensure there is a range of equipment out on the yard for children to play with.

All the children in school eat their lunch together. During the lunchtime playtime we have a range of activities on for children

We have a wide range of clubs available for children to attend throughout the week. These are all dismissed though the main door at the front of school.
