Tebay Primary School pupil Jacob Haygarth has been raising money by selling cakes for a donation outside his home in Tebay. Jacob decided to raise money for Leukaemia and Myeloma Research in memory of his Uncle Kevin Haygarth.
This weekend because of the ongoing pandemic Jacob held his first ‘click and collect cakes to order’ sale and has smashed his target of £2000 raising over £2015 to date
Jacob’s mum Kassandra Haygarth said ‘We are beyond thrilled and so proud of him, this money can do so much to help other people who have Leukaemia, our dream is that one day everyone will survive it and the only way to make that possible is through research & treatments’.
Jacob would like to thank everyone who has supported his fundraising.
