Latest Ofsted Inspection – 3rd June 2025

Following our Ofsted inspection on 3rd June 2025, we can confirm that Tebay Primary School is still a ‘Good’ school. We have regular external monitoring, to ensure that our standards remain high, and we are pleased Ofsted has recognised this. The report is attached to this email for your perusal. Thank you to all of the parents who completed the Parent View questionnaire, and for your overwhelmingly positive responses.

We are pleased that Ofsted has recognised that, “Pupils are proud to attend Tebay, which is described as being at the heart of its rural community.” We are also proud that they recognise “that staff care deeply for pupils, and relationships are positive.”

Previous Inspections

The school was inspected on 10th and 11th March 2020.

The outcome of the inspection was that the school has been rated as ‘Good’ in all five categories, therefore the overall judgement made by Ofsted is that Tebay Primary School is a ‘Good’ school.
